YOU KNOW THAT TALE OF THE HAIR DRESSER WHO NEVER DOES HER HAIR? I WOULD BE THE DESIGNER WHO NEVER WEARS HER OWN CLOTHES. I USUALLY RESERVED MY CUSTOM LOOKS FOR A SPECIAL OCCASSION. THIS NAVY AND GOLD TRIBAL PRINT IN SILK WAS ON RESERVE FOR A BRIDAL SHOWER I WOULD LATER ATTEND. THE THEME FOR THE ATTIRE CALLED FOR FABULOUS AFRICAN AND ETHNIC PRINTS. I THOUGHT, PERFECT!!
THE MORNING OF MY FAMILY'S ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY BBQ/ POOL PARTY. I WOKE UP WITH NOTHING EXCITING TO WEAR. EXCITING MEANING SOMETHING THAT FELT NEW, WEATHER APPROPRIATE AND FESTIVE ENOUGH FOR THE SERIOUS AMOUNT OF DANCING THAT WOULD COMMENCE. OH OUR FAMILY AFFAIRS ARE NO JOKE!
THIS WAS ACTUALLY THE THIRD FABRIC STYLE I TOYED WITH, I WOKE UP AT 6AM THAT SUNDAY KNOWING I NEEDED TO CREATE SOMETHING FLY AND FAB IN A POCKET OFTIME. I FELT FEMININE AND CAREFREE IN THE STRAPLESS ELASTIC BAND TOP. THE CUFF AT THE HEM OF THE SHORTS ADDS A TAILORED FEEL TO THE RELAXED FIT.
I RECEIVED SO MANY COMPLIMENTS THAT DAY, AND A HANDFUL OF ORDERS. I LATER ENDED UP WEARING IT AGAIN TO MY GIRLFRIENDS BRIDAL SHOWER. IT WAS SO WELL RECEIVED I KNEW I NEEDED TO ADD IT TO THE SITE.
SO NOW AVAILABLE IN ADDITIONAL LUSH PRINTS (LIMITED QUANTITITES) IS THE SWAY SUMMMERSET TOP AND SHORTS. (SOLD SEPARATELY, PAIRS PERFECTLY)

So if your new to my site then you might not know that this woman happens to be one of my good girlfriends. Jasmine Simpkins is the senior producer and TV host for Kevin Frasiers, HIp Hollywood. She's an amazing woman and a believer. We have the best late night gut busting gab sessions. You know the kind where you catch up, crack jokes, make plans, go back to the jokes and add a demonstration!!! They're always one for the books.
During the recent junket for the London has Fallen, starring Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Gerard Butler, and Aaron Eckhart I dressed Simpkins. This little lace number is an effortless choice to satisfy a need for style and comfort. For kicks I created this black choker out of lace trim I had in one of my many stash boxes, and it worked. She paired it with her leather Moto jacket and low bun for a finished and chic look. Dope!
We know chokers are pretty maj' right now, but to our surprise this simple lace number with a bow tie closure has gained many requests. Since then, it's made a few additional appearances along with a velvet navy version.
What do you think? Are you feeling the choker trend? Are you ready to take back to the 70's? What style of choker do you have your eye on?
