"The live auction drew equally high bids for a backstage pass to a Selena Gomez concert and a day at the Knicks practice facilities with Tyson Chandler. Chandler’s wife, Kimberly, presented the bid wearing a fabulous floral frock by Love Collins Custom Clothier accented with a cluster of diamond brooches—some of which were her grandmother’s and others were vintage Collins pieces—that she had festooned along the neckline herself."

If you've been with me for a while then you may recognize this dress. I originally made this dress at least three years ago for L.A. based singer/ songwriter JAZZY's music campaign. Its a beautiful deep floral print, one shoulder gown in a light weight cotton. For that shoot, we actually paired it with a metallic silver cigarette pant. Ironic Kimberly did the make-up for that shoot and eyed it then. Wow! Here we are today.

I can't believe that even years later its getting a second life. I love that about clothes, though. If this dress had a name I would call her Tallulah-Jean. Tallulah because of its feminine floral tones, and Jean because its sassy with a kick.

"Tallulah-Jean has been seen under the bright lights with a songbird, and danced the night away in snowflakes."

I have to admit I always get a bit emotional when I see my pieces "live". It was my pleasure for both of the ladies to wear this gown and a perk, bonus, a cherry on top and a blessing for it to be featured. Thanks girls. Thanks God.

Totally Obsessed xoxo Love
